The Home Service Marketing Launch Checklist: Ads, Page and Office

Before launching, make the ad, landing page and office response agree. Use this handover checklist to catch practical gaps before they become wasted inquiries.
Give the launch a single owner
Campaigns often depend on an owner, an agency, a website editor and the person answering inquiries. Assign one person to confirm readiness across all those pieces. A campaign should not launch simply because the ad creative has been approved.
Keep a short launch document with the offer, service area, next step, responsible people and unresolved items. Everyone should be working from the same version. Record final approval rather than assuming silence means the business agrees.
Offer and creative checks
- The service and suitable customer are clear.
- The business can deliver the offer during the stated period.
- Prices, conditions and deadlines are accurate where included.
- Photos and videos are approved for the intended use.
- Claims about results, licensing and qualifications have supporting evidence.
- Captions and on-screen text can be read on a phone.
- The ad’s main action matches the destination.
Destination and form checks
- The destination opens correctly on a phone and desktop.
- The offer and service area match the ad.
- Buttons and contact links work.
- Required fields have clear labels and useful error messages.
- The privacy and consent process matches the information collected.
- A successful request shows a clear next step.
- Notifications reach the correct staff member.
- The team knows how to identify and remove a coordinated test request.
Office readiness checks
Explain what homeowners have seen before they call. Give the office the exact offer, exclusions, service area and campaign start date. Agree who owns a new inquiry and what happens when that person is absent.
Confirm how the team records qualified inquiries, appointments, booked work and completed jobs. The report needs a consistent definition at each stage. A functioning form is only part of readiness; the business must be able to handle the conversation it creates.
Measurement and budget checks
Confirm the account owner, spending authority and reporting period. List ad spend separately from creative, management and page costs. Decide how campaign-source information will be preserved without collecting unnecessary personal data.
Check that a tracked button click is not being presented as a booked job. If the booking happens through an external calendar, verify the confirmation event separately from the click that opens the calendar. Document any gaps instead of filling them with assumed conversions.
Agree on the first review
Set a review date and the questions you need to answer: are inquiries arriving, are they suitable, can the office reach them and what is becoming booked work? Early checks can identify broken paths; meaningful performance conclusions require enough relevant evidence.
Keep a change log after launch. When the service, offer, creative or response process changes, record it. This makes the next decision clearer and reduces the temptation to explain every fluctuation with a guess.
